NGO “House of Mercy Kyiv”(HOM) is a public, non-profit organization that has been officially operating since 2019 and provides assistance to homeless elderly people and homeless people with disabilities.
Our vision of solving the problem of homelessness is a home.

Goals:
1. Reducing mortality among the homeless in Ukraine.
2. Improving their quality of life.
3. Creating specialized centers for living and leisure for homeless elderly citizens and people with disabilities.
4. Promoting the phenomenon of business social responsibility in society.
5. Dissemination of best practices of social responsibility, improving living conditions; protecting and improving the rights of the homeless.

Currently, the HOM for Charity has 2 social centers in Kyiv and is building a suburban social center in the Kyiv region.

What we do:
– care under the “Care” program (treatment, nutrition, temporary housing, daily life, recovery / paperwork, rest);
– consultations on recovery / paperwork, assistance to the homeless;
– search for relatives and assistance in restoring family ties;
– referral to other institutions dealing with the homeless;
– socialization / resocialization (assistance in employment and support during the adaptation period);
– lobbying for the interests of the homeless.
At the same time, up to 20 wards are in shelters. During the year, our organization, with the help of six employees, comprehensively serves about a hundred people. Partial assistance is also provided. Over the year, 1000+ people in crisis situations receive consultations and primary assistance with departures.

“HOM” is not a religious organization and helps and cooperates with people, regardless of their beliefs. At the same time, all employees of the organization are Christians, we closely cooperate with evangelical churches.

“House of Mercy Kyiv” is not a commercial organization, we also do not receive funding from the Ukrainian state. We operate exclusively at the expense of voluntary donations and projects.
All activities of “House of Mercy Kyiv” are transparent. Therefore, we are always ready to provide reports on the work performed, the use of funds.
