Hi everyone!
Finally the guide «Organizing mini-shelters for the elderly and homeless people with disabilities» came out.
In this guide we strive to describe main aspects of providing help to the elderly who has no habitat and homeless with health problems. Foreign specialists’ input and our own experience of serving such people in Kiev laid the foundation to this work.

You will learn how to help the person you noticed on the street. Everything — from getting acquainted with the person to next helpful practical steps like transportation, sanitary, recovering documents, finding relatives, communicating with them, and much more.
This book will also be useful for the volunteers who want to start a homeless care organization (is it worth it when it come to dealing with legal issues?). And if the organization is already established, you will find practical advise on fundraising practices, the right attitude toward donors, the organization’s PR and more.
Here you can find the list of all (or almost all) of the laws of Ukraine concerning homeless and homelessness. And in spite the fact that they are not followed in Ukraine, you have to know them in order to appeal to the medical doctors and various officials who are open to help. In most cases it works.
P.S.
