At age 67, Alexander Harankov, has a story. Born and raised in Moscow, he found himself without a family and a country. He left Russia traveling into western Belarus to a place he did not know. On 6 June he arrived into Ukraine with 13 rubles and two bags of food to his name.

Because of God’s amazing grace and endless mercy and the opening of a Christian ministry focusing on the homeless elderly in Ukraine, Alexander Haras found a new home, the House of Mercy Kiev.
