Her story is amazing.
Valentyna Petrivna became a victim of fraudsters, who deprived her of an apartment in Kyiv. She is sure that her local police inspector is involved in this. So she really took against any policemen in general.
After she became homeless, she was sent to us by one of her caring former neighbours.
We helped her to have her passport and a pension re-issued.
When we made a Facebook post about her, one married couple from Georgia responded. They phoned us and offered Valentyna Petrivna to come to their place in Georgia to live out her days. They have a big house, but their parents have died, and the children live separately. They are ready to welcome Valentyna Petrivna and take care of her till her dying day.
It’s amazing that they are both former policemen! Now they are in Europe, but in the winter they will come home, prepare a room for Valentyna Petrivna and will be ready to have her.
We needed to find her some shelter until spring, but her pension payment is so tiny that it is impossible to find a nursing home with decent living conditions for her…
And again, miraculously, we managed to settle her in a private VIP-level boarding house for the elderly people.
Many thanks to the “Life goes on” boarding house, because your love for people is more than love for money.
Thanks to everyone who cared for Valentyna Petrivna, for your prayer, moral and material concern!
