Our Viktoriia’s story is probably the most tragic one:
kicked out of home by her own daughter, blind with no chance of recovery as result of her husband’s beatings, she spent more than more than six months in the streets.
Apart from this, she has cancer.
But!
Surprisingly, she is the most joyful person in the shelter! She’s never sad and always finds the inner strength to persevere the pain.
She gives hope to many others: having no house, being rejected by her own children, being blind, having cancer… she still loves her life and is always in good mood ![]()
She has just finished one of the chemotherapy sessions, and we’ve brought her back to the shelter.
Let us all wish her many happy and healthy years ahead ![]()
