here are many kinds of Christmas miracles ![]()
This year, the Savior visited us through the students of 10th and 11th grade of the Kiev Waldorf School “Sophia”.
They arranged a real party for our shelters. They brought gifts, prepared both traditional Christmas songs and songs composed by their students (yes, they do have such talented youth) and sang to us!
But the most important gift they brought to our friends in the shelters was communication, sincerity, and acceptance: the understanding that everyone can be accepted and loved the way they are.
Many of them were surprised to receive healing instead of moral wounds, sincerity instead of indifference, acceptance instead of rejection and hope instead of dead end.
It was amazing to see the way boys and girls were talking to people of completely different age and from a completely different stratum of society.
Love connects us.
A big thanks to Olga Tarkanovskaya for having organized this celebration!
We also thank Дмитрий Гавриленко for videotaping the event and making the video clip!
