Mikhail Peetooh

This is Mikhail. 67 years old.

One man was driving a car and saw how Mikhail fell on the roadway. He thought of driving past, but got out of the car, went up to him, helped him to get up and brought him to our House of Mercy.

Mikhail is from Uzhhorod. He does not smoke or drink. Because of his old age he has problems with coordination and legs. He goes in a hurry, his legs give way, and that’s why he falls.

It turned out that he knows the Bible. He said he had been visiting the Baptist church for 20 years, but then something happened and he got behind God.

He has a wife and a son.

His son goes to work in the Czech Republic, but when he comes home, he goes on a binge and beats Mikhail heavily. The last time he was beaten so that Michael had to leave his home. So he found himself in Kyiv.

We contacted his wife, she said that the son had already left and let Mikhail return, but for Mikhail it was better to go to the shelter, so we sent him there. Nevertheless after some time, he still went home.

While in the House of Mercy, he constantly read the Bible and repeated that it was God who brought him back to Himself.

Please pray that Mikhail will not depart from God and that his family relations will be mended.
