This elderly man is 73.

After he signed his apartment away for his daughter’s advantage, she threw him out of the house. Then he lived with his son and daughter-in-law, until his daughter-in-law also drove him out into the street.

He lived right under the house for several months and no one needed him.

He was noticed by an indifferent girl, when in the emergency room the doctors refused to treat an open wound on his face. Probably they took him for an alcoholic – although Anatolii does not drink, he has just stumbled and fell because he was so weak.

Then this girl bought the medicines for him and treated his wound herself. She could not take him home with her – she had a baby. However she began to look for some dwelling for him.

When we got Anatolii, he undergone a medical examination and was diagnosed with tuberculosis and a severe cataract in both eyes. A terrible disease has added to the rejection of the closest relatives.

Thank you, dear friends, because it is with your help we have raised money for his operation on both eyes!!!

Maybe he does not need to see this cruel indifferent world, I sometimes think that it would be better for me not to see so much of what I see myself.

When he is discharged, we will find some nursing home or shelter for him, where he will be surrounded by care and love, which he will be able not only feel and hear but also see with his own eyes!
